Swedish Massage
Also known as relaxation massage, this is the most common technique for relieving stress and anxiety. The therapist uses long strokes with light to moderate pressure for the purpose of releasing tension.
Hot Stone Massage
Smooth, flat stones are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees and placed on specific parts of your body. The hot stones are used to ease muscle tension and help increase blood flow to the affected area.
Deep Tissue Massage
This therapeutic massage technique targets knots and specific problem areas in the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Your therapist will apply sustained pressure to break up scar tissue and promote healing.
Sports Massage
Popular with athletes, this massage technique serves to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery. It can improve overall range of motion and increase flexibility to support safe movement.
Graston Technique
This research-backed therapeutic method utilizes stainless steel instruments to detect the location of scar tissue or muscle restrictions and then break up the adhesions.
Cupping
Cups are positioned on your skin to create suction. This ancient form of alternative medicine uses negative pressure to lift the muscle fibers and draw blood to the area, reducing pain and inflammation.
